A wtx file is a document created in a plain text format, similar to a txt file. By default the wtx extension is set as a default file association in Windows 7. As far as the text file in WTX-format does not contain any non-standard formatting, styles, paragraphs and indentations, any text editor will be absolutely fit in order to open the file
