The pml file is a source object format which can be opened by eReader, a recently popular freeware eBook reader app. The pml resource includes source code, which is being compiled into the PDB-file. Afterwards, it can be accessed by eReader gadgets. Basically, the pml-file consists of tags which structure the eBook. The examples of such instances include font formatting, indents and paragraphs.
NOTE: The archived format of the PML file is the PMLZ object.
