The odt file is a text document, being created in Writer – the word processor, included into OpenOffice and StarOffice software packages. Based on formatting via OASIS OpenDocument XML standard, the ODT-file may contain a wide variety of such elements as styles, drawn objects, images and text.
As far as this particular format is based on XML markup language, it can be easily converted into another language.
