The description of docm format expansion
The docm file is a text file, being created by Microsoft Word – the word processor, used for the text processing. Includes embedded macro-elements, which can be executed in the documents. This format is applied for Word Open XML (docx) document tasks automation with the assistance of adding the advanced macro-elements functionality.
Macros are the sequences of commands grouped into a single command and performed for automatic task completion. They are especially useful for saving time during repetitive functions performance, like mathematical computation or data entry. You may attach a macro to an appropriate button or keys combination in Word as well in order to save time.
The docm files are being stored via the XML-based open Word document format, which was implemented into Office 2007.
